Creativities Scunthorpe offers an innovative and outcome focused activities for adults with support needs. Our current client group includes people with Dementia, Autism, Mental Health Needs and Learning Disabilities.

Want to get creative but aren’t sure how? We’ll support you to draw and paint, making collages and mosaics, basically anything you can think of! You can take your art home and enter it into our annual calendar competition.

Every Friday from 9.30am – 12 noon at Unit 4, Suite 2, Park Square on Laneham Street in Scunthorpe.

Bowls Club  for people with limited mobility or sensory impairment that takes place every Friday from 10am -12 noon at the Lodge Moor Community Centre.

Takes place every Saturday from 7pm to 9pm at Westcliff Community Centre and the evening includes bingo and a raffle.

There is an annual membership of £1.

Macular Disease Society, Scunthorpe Support Group @ Scunthorpe & District Mind

National organisation with a Scunthorpe branch. The Macular Society has been supporting people with macular conditions like age-related macular degeneration (AMD) for over 25 years.

We offer information and support and we fund research to find a cure. Through the generous donations of our members and all our supporters our services are free. You can help us and become a member of the Macular Society or make a donation.

The Scunthorpe branch meet every fourth Monday of the Monday of the month from 10am to 12 noon, unless it falls on a bank holiday then it is held the week before.

We support each other, have parties, invite guest speakers, go out for dinner and more.Interested people are welcome to just turn up.
