Active Ageing – Walking Football (Scunthorpe) @ The Pods

Walking football is a variant of football that is aimed at keeping people aged over 50 involved with football if, due to a lack of mobility or for other reason, they are not able to play the traditional game.

The sport can be played both indoors and outdoors.

Creativities Scunthorpe offers an innovative and outcome focused activities for adults with support needs. Our current client group includes people with Dementia, Autism, Mental Health Needs and Learning Disabilities.

Want to get creative but aren’t sure how? We’ll support you to draw and paint, making collages and mosaics, basically anything you can think of! You can take your art home and enter it into our annual calendar competition.

Every Friday from 9.30am – 12 noon at Unit 4, Suite 2, Park Square on Laneham Street in Scunthorpe.

Tea Pot Hall Drop-In – Morning Session @ Tea Pot Hall

Zumba by Penny @ Central Community Centre

Penny is a Qualified Fitness instructing ETM. Licensed to teach Zumba, Z kids + Z Kids Jr+Z Step.

All classes are for all abilities and are friendly and fun.

Friday session is 9.45am – 10.30am and costs £4 per session.

Active Ageing – Walking Netball (Scunthorpe) @ The Pods

Part of the Active Ageing programme.

Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level.

From those who have dropped out of the sport they love due to serious injury, to those who believed they had hung up their netball trainers many years ago, it really is for everyone.

Bowls Club for people with additional needs @ Lodge Moor Community Association

Let’s Go Potty – Pottery Cafe @ Church of the Holy Spirit

‘Lets Gets Potty’ craft room is open Monday to Friday between 10 – 2 (booking advisable for groups) with pottery items and other craft available.

Runs term time only.

All in support of Inspiring Family Solution CIC which aims to support parents or carers in the local community with children aged 0-11 years.

We are a non profit CIC, all money go back into the running of the hub and the service provided.
