Rebound Therapy @ Brigg Community Wellbeing Hub

Rebound Therapy is used to facilitate movement, promote balance, promote an increase or
decrease in muscle tone, promote relaxation, promote sensory integration, improve fitness and
exercise tolerance, and to improve communication skills.

Participants range from mild to severe physical disabilities and from mild to profound and
multiple learning disabilities, including dual sensory impairment and autistic spectrum.

Booking is essential for this activity.

Part of the ‘Do Something Different’ programme for adults 16+ with a disability.

Chair-based Exercise – Howsham Village Hall @ Howsham Village Hall

These gentle sitting exercises will help improve your mobility and prevent falls. If you have difficulty standing or walking then chair based exercise is perfect for you.

Even a small amount of activity can be a tremendous boost to our wellbeing and help you to tone and strengthen. So why not give it a go? You might be surprised at just how good it makes you feel.

Brigg & District Breast Cancer Support Group @ Angel Suite Ballroom

The group is a registered charity, and has been designed to meet the needs of breast cancer patients, offering support, advice & friendship to all.

Family and friends and anyone who wishes to become part of the group are very welcome.

Takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 7.30pm.

New members please check the website as meetings are occasionally held elsewhere.
