Peggy’s Place Scunthorpe @ Peggy's World

Peggy’s Place is a safe place for families to attend in North Lincolnshire and West Lindsey, facilitated by specialist support from Dementia Specialist Nurse Tilly Brock.

It is a place to come and share with others in a similar situation and to gain peer support.

People with dementia may like to be involved in an activity session while their carer talks to others so families can come together but have different needs met at the same time.

We meet every Tuesday from 2pm – 4pm at Peggy’s World, 145 Cherry Grove, Ashby, DN16 2TH.

Versus Arthritis is a national charity who offer support for people with Arthritis in North Lincolnshire.

The Scunthorpe Branch holds monthly meetings, on the last Tuesday of each month.
The meetings are held at the Central Community Centre on Lindum Street, Scunthorpe from 2pm – 4pm.

Entry is £1 and tea/coffee and biscuits are served on arrival with time for friendly chit chat.

Singing For The Brain – Scunthorpe @ Age UK Scunthorpe

Singing for the Brain brings people together in a friendly, fun and social environment. Based around the principles
of music therapy, the stimulating sessions include vocal warm-ups and singing a wide variety of familiar and new songs.

Takes place on first Wednesday of every month from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Costs £2 per person.
